As a dog lover, I always want to make sure my dog is looked after by the best. Izzy at Haus of Hounds Droitwich is just that, the best. Coco is now almost twelve and he has started suffering with arthritis which he finds frustrating as he loves running around like a nutter, chasing balls and rolling in long grass. As he is aging we are very aware of how he needs to be treated and after our vet told us that he needed his teeth cleaned we started to research this.
As Coco is no longer a young whipper snapper we didn’t really want to have him sedated in order to have his teeth cleaned so we started looking for other options and we found it.

Coco is a very well behaved dog and during his teeth cleaning he got cuddles and kisses from Izzy and was told that he was “a good boy”. This pleased us as he is our good boy and at his advancing years we want him to be cared for with love and respect.
I have also used Izzy to groom my mum’s dog, Morgan, a Cairn Terrier who is 15 and a half years old. He hates going to the groomer but his little tail wags off when he sees Izzy. He knows he is in for a pamper and will be given the time he needs to feel comfortable. I wrote a review for Izzy following the session with Morgan as I know that other people feel anxious about their elderly dogs being groomed.
I cannot sing Izzy’s praises enough, she has been a groomer for several years but only opened her new business in January this year.
